FDA is announcing a public workshop: "Issues in the Design and Conduct of Clinical Trials for Antibacterial Drug Development".  Aug 2-3, 2010, Silver Spring, MD, USA.

Israel takes EUREKA chair - world's largest R&D initiative. Israel became the first non-European state to head the EUREKA Network, the leading industrial R&D initiative in Europe and the largest of its kind in the world with investments of 1.5 billion Euros every year.
 
Israel's KAMADA gets FDA approval for innovative drug. KAMADA won U.S. approval for its treatment of Alpha-1 Antitrypsin deficiency (AATD), a lung-damaging condition that is mainly found in Europe and North America.
 
Israel Medical Association in cooperation with the Israel Ministry of Health upgraded and updated the website for reporting on adverse events. The website is for the use of the medical staff and the general public.
           
Q-Trials CRO had a successful exhibition at the ILSI-Biomed 2010 Conference held June 14-16, 2010 in Tel-Aviv. Biomed is the largest biomed conference in the world outside of the USA which drew more than 1,000 international visitors. More than 2,500 participated in customized one-on-one meetings of which 800 were from 35 countries.
