Israel Ministry of Health will hold training sessions during June 2010: the regulatory requirements for performing clinical trials.

The webinar "U.S. Health Care Reform — A Special Presentation for Israeli Pharma, Biotech and Medical Device Companies and Their Investors” will be held on May 5th. The webinar is very timely in light of all the changes anticipated due to “Obama-Care”.

Elections to CTrials association committees will be held on May 3rd in Tel-Hashomer. CTrials is the Israeli Association for the Advancement of the Biomedical Research Community. During the event a panel will discuss the issue: are global crisis situations justifying regulatory agility? (Hebrew).

Most of the incubator companies approved during the first quarter of 2010 are life science related. The Israeli technology incubators committee run by the chief scientist office approved government support of 17.2 million shekels in 9 new companies, of which 7 are in the biotech area. (Hebrew)


The Israeli Life Science Fund Tender was published: the four groups who passed the preliminary stage will start to raise money. If all the four groups will be established the Israeli biotech market will get at least 400 million dollars (about 1.5 billion shekels). (Hebrew)
