OrbiMed, the biggest biomedical venture capital fund in the world ($5 billion), is opening a local office in Israel. The company, which confines itself to health care and life science companies, will be in the running to run a future state-owned biotechnology fund.
First call to submit applications to CTrials association committees was published. CTrials is the Israeli Association for the Advancement of the Biomedical Research Community. The elections will take place on May 3rd 2010 (Hebrew).
