MEDICAL Expo will hold a conference about "Ethics in clinical studies" on September 28, 2016 at the Dan Acadia Herzliya (Hebrew).
Recently, the FDA issued three final guidances for industry related to expanded access.  Expanded access is FDA’s process to facilitate the availability of investigational treatment options to patients with serious or immediately life-threatening diseases or conditions who lack therapeutic alternatives.  FDA also developed patient and physician fact sheets to further inform stakeholders about expanded access and has revamped its website to make it more user-friendly.

Israel has become one of the most significant medical development hubs outside of the United States and in the recent “2015 Innovation Report”, Israel was ranked as the fourth most productive innovation center in health technology (a category that includes drugs, devices, and diagnostic technology) on a per capita basis in the world.
Israeli startups raised record $1.4b in Q2, compared with $1 billion in the first quarter and $1.1 billion in the second quarter of 2015.
