A CRO is a contract organization providing clinical trial services to pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech firms. CRO services include clinical trial
conduct and regulatory submissions, project management, trial logistics, data management, translations and medical writing.
A CRA is a Clinical Research Associate who is professionally defined by Good clinical practice guidelines (ICH GCP). Monitoring ensures compliance with
the clinical trial protocol, adherence with regulatory guidelines and implementation of sponsor requirements. The CRA acts by monitoring site activities,
